Department of Sociology
The department of sociology came in to existence in 1990-91. Initially, the B.A. started and there after, 1997-98 the M.A. in Political Science was started. At present stage the strength has reached to 350-400 students (including B.A. and M.A.). Among all social sciences, sociology is one of the most famous streams among students.
The department of Sociology offers two courses. One for under graduate course and another for post graduate course.
