The Department of Commerce is one of the pioneering departments of Govt. Chandulal Chandrakar Arts & Science College, Patan. The department offered Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Commerce. The Course M.Com. had introduced from Academic Session 2020-21. Which is affiliated to the Hemchand Yadav University, Durg. From the very beginning period of establishment, the department has been utilizing the services of a number of part time faculties. Currently it is running successfully from 01 full time regular Asstt. Professor.

The regular departmental activities include the organization of ‘Association of Commerce’ every session with ‘Guest talks’ from the eminent experts and also competitions about ‘General knowledge’ & ‘Subject Awareness’ are held. Programs held are:-
